Fashion at the 2012 Oscars paid homage to the latest trend in interesting silhouettes, from the peplum on Tina Fey's gown to JLo's sleeve cut-outs. There were a few ethereal gowns, seen on Kristen Wig and Rooney Mara. But for the most part, the leading ladies of Hollywood stuck with traditional high-glam gowns with beading, sequins and trailing skirts. Here are my top picks.

No sign of Bjork in a Platypus inspired dress this year, huh?
That was actually a swan, wasn't it? She was the original Gaga. I actually used to love some of her music.
