Imagine if someone happens to post about the death of a loved one, and a reader leaves a comment that says, "Hope you'll follow my blog!". NOT COOL! I think it's perfectly fine to leave your blog link with a signature or let them know you're a new follower, but it should be after a comment that let's the blogger know you actually read something on their blog.
